‘40 Faces of St Gemma’s Hospice’ is a powerful new exhibition of portraits by Olivia Hemingway, on display at Leeds City Museum.
40 people, including patients, families, staff, volunteers and supporters, have been photographed in the 40th Anniversary of St Gemma’s Hospice.
Each portrait takes you behind the scenes into the real lives of the people who make the Hospice such a special place. The powerful portraits demonstrate strong feelings of hope, love, happiness, humour and bravery.
Olivia’s personal style captures people in a range of settings across the city. Each photograph is accompanied by their story as they share their connection with St Gemma’s in their own words.
The exhibition runs from Tuesday 26th June until Sunday 23rd September 2018. The photos and stories will be available online at www.st-gemma.co.uk/40Faces.
Come along to the Exhibition Fair on Saturday 7th July from 10am – 4pm to celebrate the opening of the exhibition, with refreshments, stalls, performances and family friendly activities. This is a fantastic opportunity to come and see the exhibition and discover more about your local hospice.
